Welcome to my Smugmug gallery!
Sometimes I wonder if I was a camera in a past life, because even before I bought my first camera (Kodak disc in 1985) I would compose my world visually in "scenes" as if there was an invisible frame surrounding my field of vision.
I have always enjoyed photography. When I was little girl every time I went to my paternal grandparents house I would look through their photo albums - over and over. In high school, I was on the yearbook staff and my senior year became editor.
I have been through quite a few 35mm cameras but with the impending arrival of my nephew, Ethan in 2005, I bought the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and began using it regularly 6 months before he was born. Because of all the photos I have taken of Ethan, his parents have nicknamed me "Ethan's paparazzi". If he sneezes, I am there to capture it with my camera. After 13 months of use, I sold my Canon Digital Rebel XT and upgraded to a Canon EOS 30D digital camera.
I am available by appointment only, to come to your home or a location of your choice to photograph your family and/or pets.
Portrait sessions are $50 for 1 1/2 hours. A CD of the session is available for $50 - $75 (this includes any touch-ups, cropping or converting requested photos to Black & White, etc.) Prints can also be purchased directly from me. I use Smugmug and/or White House Custom Color for all my digital printing needs.
I am also available for birthday parties or any other special event.
